Notes on Christmas Bazaar/Cookie Walk

All active members are required to donate a minimum of two (2) hand-made items and four (4) dozen cookies/candies to the Bazaar/Walk on Saturday, November 21st.  Naturally, we will accept more items than the minimum.  So start thinking about it now during summer and fall classes.  The items must be hand made, but they do not have to have been made in a club class.  They can be items you have made on your own or that someone you know has made.  Items that are not hand made, nor cookies/candy purchased from a store will not be accepted.

We also will be conducting several Bazaar Workshops.  If you come to any of the workshops (which is not a club requirement), you will receive one class credit for every two hours spent making the items.  The workshop items are strictly for sale at the Bazaar and will not count as a craft to be displayed at the Table Setting Luncheon in April.   (We hope they all sell!)  The workshops are as follows:

August 27, 9:30 - ?:  Crystal Snowflake Earrings; Crystal Tennis Bracelet
September 11, 9:30 - ?:  Porcelain Thimble Painting
October 22, 6:00 P.M. - ?:  Spindle Snowman
November 12, 9:00 - ?:  Candy Making

If you can think of another item that will sell well in the Bazaar, please contact Carol Linder and we will consider another workshop to make it.
